EAGLE RIVER

Labrador’s Eagle River is one of the top five Atlantic salmon rivers in North America. It is known for its large wild salmon - 30 lb fish have been caught. 

Rifflin Hitch Lodge can only be reached by floatplane. It is an all-inclusive, exclusive use lodge which can accommodate a maximum party of 8. One guide is assigned to two fishermen and the pools are rotated daily. There are no set fishing hours, and you may fish from dawn until dusk as long as you are accompanied by a guide. 

The lodge is in a beautiful location on the Eagle River and has luxury king and queen bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms, WiFi and satellite TV. There is a large sitting/ dining room, library, well stocked fly-tying corner, two screened porches, a hot tub and billiards table. Sage and Loop fly rods, locally hand-tied flies, Simms brand waders, jackets and boots are available to use. The food is fantastic, and alcohol is included. 

Other activities: Skeet shoots, kayaks, whale & iceberg tours, gym, massages, billiards, sauna and hot tub. 

Suggested Package: Return charter flight from Goose Bay, daily use of 3 aircraft, fishing licences. 3 or 6 nights at the lodge on an all-inclusive basis.
