Long Island at 80 miles long and four miles wide, exudes an off-the-beaten-path charm for those in search of peace and tranquility. Brilliant coral reefs, pristine flats and serene beaches make Long Island a haven for fishing, diving, and boating.

CAPE SANTA MARIA 
Cape Santa Maria is a gently curving bay at the northern tip of the island. The white sand flats of Joe’s Sound are just 10-15 minutes by skiff. Here you find schools of small to medium sized bonefish in the 3-10lbs range. You can explore many bays around the island by yourself, with protected flats and easy wading. Others must be fished using a skiff with a guide. There is also excellent big game and reef fishing. 

Accommodation is in 20 spacious beach front bungalows designed in the classic Bahamian style, and 16 luxury villas with full kitchens. All are air-conditioned. Bungalows are also equipped with small refrigerators.  

The Beach House is the hub of activity with the TV room, a business centre with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, as well as the Oceanside Bar and restaurant. This holiday is very good for non-fishing companions.

Other activities: Bicycles, kayaks, stand-up paddleboarding, cave snorkelling and sailing. Excursions to legendary “Dean’s Blue Hole”, historic Clarence Town, Hamilton’s Caves and Long Island’s own swimming pigs.
