The Kenyan Coast is widely known as one of the best places to fish for blue, black and striped marlin, sailfish, broadbill, mako, tiger and other sharks as well as wahoo, yellowfin tuna, dorado, giant trevally and many other species. 

Manda Bay is set on the northwestern tip of Manda Island. It lies in calm waters on a long sandy protected beach and the reef and game fishing are well known both for their variety and for the quantity of sport fish caught. North Kenya’s fishing season runs from September through to the end of April and is at its best from November to mid-March when billfish are most prevalent here.
