MANDA BAY

Manda Bay is set on the northwestern tip of Manda Island. It lies in calm waters on a long sandy protected beach and the reef and game fishing are well known both for their variety and for the quantity of sport fish caught. North Kenya’s fishing season runs from September through to the end of April and is at its best from November to mid- March when billfish are most prevalent here.

The boats are state of the art with a crew of experienced guides, fully equipped with all the tools for fantastic days out fishing the deep Indian Ocean. Rooms are garden, sea view or beachfront cottages all with en-suite facilities, ceiling fans and verandas. There is an infinity pool, spacious games room and lounge and reading room. The food at Manda Bay is fantastic and guests are able to sample their own catch. This lodge is perfect for non-fishing companions.

Other activities: Water skiing, sailing, kite-surfing, dhow excursions, beaches, scenic flights, cultural heritage and bird watching.

Suggested Package: internal flights Nairobi to Lamu, 7 nights full board, 2 days’ inshore fishing with 2 per boat and 3 days’ game fishing, 4 per boat.
