ARGENTINA

Argentina is the eighth-largest country in the world. While it’s well known for fine wines, soccer, the tango, and Eva Perón, over the last decade the country has emerged as the premier reverse season fly-fishing destination. It’s easy to reach Buenos Aires via overnight flights, and visitors to this fascinating nation rave about the hospitality, warmth, and sense of cultural and family pride shared by the Argentine people.

You can experience fantastic sea trout fishing in Tierra del Fuego; monstrous rainbows in Santa Cruz; true wilderness trout fishing in Patagonia; or the ferocious golden dorado in the Corrientes Province.

TIERRA DEL FUEGO

Tierra del Fuego is the ultimate Argentine destination for sea-run brown trout. Sea trout in the 6-25lb range are encountered daily, with an average of 12lbs from December to mid-April.

SANTA CRUZ

Located in the Santa Cruz Province in Argentina, Jurassic Lake is nothing short of a biological anomaly and is an exceptionally prolific trophy rainbow fishery.

PATAGONIA

Patagonia is a remote area of outstanding natural beauty offering dry fly, nymph and streamer fishing for plentiful wild brown and rainbow trout up to 10lbs.

CORRIENTES PROVINCE

Esteros del Iberá Reserve is one of South America’s most important freshwater reservoirs.  Ranked as the second-largest wetland in the world after the Pantanal in Brazil, it’s also enormous in size.
