ST BRANDON'S ATOLL

St Brandon's Atoll provides the most spectacular wade bonefishing you will ever encounter. On most tides anglers can expect to see large numbers of these shallow water speedsters, including some enormous singles and doubles. St Brandon’s bonefish average 5 – 6lb, with most guests getting opportunities at fish weighing between 9 – 12lb. Large numbers of Indo-Pacific permit are also present, ranging from 5 – 15lbs. Other species include golden, yellow dot and green spot and bluefin trevally and the occasional GT.

Accommodation is in a charming guesthouse on Raphael Island in the north of the atoll. It can accommodate eight guests in four twin, air-conditioned rooms sharing two bathrooms. A covered outdoor dining and lounge area provides an idyllic setting for enjoying a local beer at the end of a great day of fishing. A separate mudroom/tackle room ensures all your gear has been cleaned and is neatly stored away and ready for another great day of wading.

Suggested Package: 1 night in Port Louis, transfers, 10 nights on full board and 7 days’ fishing.
