PORONUI LODGE

Poronui Lodge, one of the best luxury sporting retreats in New Zealand, offers a classic fly fishing experience. Located in the beautiful Taharua Valley on New Zealand’s spectacular North Island, the estate boasts some of the world’s best wilderness experiences, including over 25 miles of private fishing. Four-wheel drive vehicles and helicopters give access to many more stone streams and spring creeks. Expect to find wild brown and rainbow trout in crystal-clear water that rise freely to a dry fly. 

The Poronui estate features three different accommodation options. Choose from the relaxed atmosphere of the Lodge, the seclusion of Blake House private villa or the unplugged bliss of Safari Camp. Excellent meals featuring local produce are served and these are complemented by a selection of world-class wines from the lodge’s well stocked cellar.
