Cayo Cruz / Romano has been building a record book of impressive catches of the main 3 flats species, as well as offering a huge variety of inshore fish to pursue. The fishing grounds of endless cays, sand flats, lagoons, channels and beaches cover over 1,350 square miles, a vast archipelago on the north of the island. Much of this water has not yet seen a fisherman and new spots are regularly discovered. Bonefish, permit and tarpon are all of a good average size.
