MAYAGUANA

Mayaguana is the most south-easterly island of the Bahamas and has a population of approximately 400. It has maintained much of its quaintness and has a laid-back atmosphere. You can explore the wilderness environment in search of large bonefish and permit. You will be given guidance on where to fish and various wading options. There is great fishing at Booby Cay, which can be reached by boat.

BAYCANER BEACH RESORT
The only resort on the island which will accommodate no more than 10 fishermen a week. The available flats and reefs offer more than enough space to fish on your own or with a partner and not see anyone else until dinner back in the resort. The bonefish on Mayaguana are BIG. The chance of catching a fish close to 10 pounds is no exception.

The rooms all have air conditioning, TV and private bathrooms with a shower and a bath. You can have a double bed or 2 single beds according to your needs. There is also a bar with a pool table and a big TV. Breakfast and dinner are served in the hotel and lunch is out on the flats.

Other activities:  Diving, swimming, bird watching, snorkelling and exploring the island by scooter or car.

Suggested Package: 1 night Nassau room only, internal flight, transfers, 7 nights full board, 3 days fishing local flats, 3 days’ fishing Booby Cay.
