TARPON CAYE

Tarpon Caye Lodge offers excellent fishing opportunities, either guided or DIY. The island is a 30-minute boat ride from Placencia and sits on a fringe reef in the middle of the Victoria Channel, well known for permit fishing. The surrounding flats offer great bonefishing and the lagoon is one of the best tarpon fisheries in Belize. There are also plenty of spin fishing opportunities for snapper, wahoo, barracuda, and jacks. 

Accommodation is in one of three private cabanas, each with fans and private facilities and all with their own balcony over the Caribbean Sea with deck chairs, hammock and breath-taking views. All meals are included along with the local rum and feature local seafood including lobster, conch, shrimp or freshly caught fish along with local Belizean cuisine.
